About me
I am excited about Gestalt Therapy and it's application to modern living, and more importantly, how it can support us to maintain and achieve good physical and mental health in the face of personal, family, societal and wider world challenges and stresses.
My Background
I have a background in science, the arts and social work practice/management and organisational change.
I completed my Diploma in Gestalt Therapy at Edinburgh Gestalt Institute(EGI) in 2009. After further study I completed my accreditation as a Gestalt Psychotherapist with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP registered) in 2017. I am a professional member of the Gestalt Psychotherapy & Training Institute (GPTI) and abide by their code of ethics. I have worked as a psychotherapist in Edinburgh city centre and Leith since 2009.

I have worked as Student Counsellor at Edinburgh University and as a Child Therapist in the field of trauma/ sexual abuse/exploitation. I am now working in private practice with adults and children/young people.
I am actively involved in ongoing training and CPD in a wide range of areas of interest. I am interrested in neuro-diversityI have an interest in current developments in the field of neuroscience and what I can learn that can support further therapeutic benefits to clients.
